We would like to introduce the new Minds Of Madness Update Utility. This tool allows you to update Minds Of Madness without having to reinstall it. This removes old game files and reinstalls the game for you which will save you time and computer space. This tool also allows the game to be downloaded faster. The process of updating usually takes 1-2 minutes. You might be worried about the permissions and what this program has access to, so that's why we are going to make the exact code open-source. We assure you that this updater/patcher only downloads to the folders within the game, which is why this updater/patcher doesn't require administrative permissions to install the game. We also urge users not to move any of the folders and files around for this exact reason, the code only downloads the game to the folders within the folder you download which means if anything is out of its normal place, it can mess up some stuff up and you could get some errors in the updater/patcher console! If your anti-virus says this program is a virus, don't worry it is probably a false-positive, but if you're still worried, we will still be putting every version on itch.io! The code for this program will become open-source soon.
